Recently, Li Lecheng, Party Secretary and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, published a signed article titled "Strengthening the Party's Innovative Theoretical Armament and Unswervingly Promoting New Industrialization" in the journal *New Industrialization*. The article noted that China's industrial production has already reached a massive scale, with output of certain products even surpassing 60% or 70% of global totals. Meanwhile, as China approaches a turning point in its population growth, Industries such as steel and cement have already reached their peak scale, making it increasingly unsustainable to rely on the traditional growth model of "low prices and high volume." We must firmly adhere to pursuing excellence and winning through quality, enhancing both the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing supply system. By delivering high-quality products that create and drive demand, we can continuously unlock new avenues for growth and development. To align with the trends of high-end development, intelligent innovation, and sustainable green growth, we must leverage technology as a driving force, harness digital capabilities, build a solid foundation in quality, cultivate a strong cultural identity, and enhance brand value. This will enable manufacturing to shift its focus from sheer scale expansion to value creation, boosting the added-value rate, extending toward both ends of the iconic "smile curve," climbing up the upstream segments of the value chain, and continuously improving both quality and overall efficiency.
