Do you remember the new type of water well drilling rig with a telescopic tower, HJGW868A, that was shipped to Hubei Province on February 16, 2017?
On April 12, the HJGW868A water well drilling rig delivered the first deep water well to the villagers of Zhaojia Mountain Village in Baokang County, Hubei Province, after thousands of years.
On April 12, under the continuous operation of the new type of water well drilling rig HJGW868A with a telescopic tower, the well in Zhaojia Mountain Village, Maliang Town finally produced water... The construction of this well started on March 25, reaching a drilling depth of 483 meters, with a daily water output of 80-110 cubic meters, which can solve the water supply problem for over 800 people. Departments such as the Provincial Social Science Federation, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and Wuhan University of Technology inspected the well water extraction work on-site.
It is understood that Zhaojia Village in Maliang Town is known as the "drought village" in Baokang County, with an average altitude of 1000 meters, belonging to a typical karst landform. Karst landform refers to the surface and underground forms formed by the erosion of soluble rocks, mostly limestone, by water with erosive power, also known as karst topography. For thousands of years, the villagers of Zhaojia Mountain Village have faced the reality of seeing water but not being able to drink it. Previously, villagers had to walk dozens of miles to fetch water, taking half a day to carry a load of water back home. Now, they can finally drink sweet, nearby water, and the villagers of Zhaojia Mountain Village spontaneously bought firecrackers and fireworks to celebrate this significant moment.
