Fragmented metamorphic banded marble
Structural features: Granular metamorphic structure. Micro-fractured structure, banded structure.
Rock characteristics:
The rock is composed of calcite, dolomite, diopside, and quartz.
Calcite: Granular, grain size: 0.4-1.4mm, significant flash, interference color high white, polysynthetic twinning, two sets of intersecting cleavages, interlocking, content: 80%.
Quartz: Granular, grain size: 0.15-0.4mm, colorless, transparent, interference color first gray, content: 10%.
Diopside: Granular, grain size: 0.1-0.25mm, positive high protrusion, interference color bright, content: 3%.
Dolomite: Platy, flash, interference color bright, content 5%.
Alteration features:
The rock is fractured under stress, calcite crystal patterns are bent. Silicified quartz appears in clumps. Minerals are oriented. Opaque minerals are sporadically distributed.
