Open-pit rock drilling rigs use a rod-type drilling tool set, typically consisting of 6 drill rods per set, for drilling inclined blast holes up to a depth of 35 meters.
Hand-held small diameter rock drilling tools are designed for small projects and operations in narrow spaces. They typically consist of a small drill rod, drill bit, and connection devices. Commonly used drilling products include hexagonal solid drill rods with diameters of H19mm, H22mm, and H25mm, conical connection drill rods, as well as flat chisel bits and cross bits ranging from 38 to 42mm, along with four-tooth, five-tooth ball bits.
